Quick Answer: Sunlighten now sells five lines, split by wavelength rather than size. The Amplify is the best buy for most people: full-spectrum heat rated to 170°F from $5,799 (Amplify II basswood, Sunlighten’s shop, October 31, 2026, sale price; regular $6,699). The Signature ($4,999 for the 1-person Signature I) is far-infrared only. If you want red light built in, the new Amplify RED starts at $7,699 for the 2-person II. The flagship mPulse (1-5 people, red light plus separately controlled near, mid and far infrared) is now quote-only, and the Solo dome ($1,999) is the cheapest way to try Sunlighten’s heat.
Sunlighten is the most technically ambitious brand we track: it splits its catalog by wavelength band rather than just size or finish. That makes shopping it confusing, because the model name tells you whether you’re buying far-infrared-only heat, full spectrum, full spectrum with red light, or the mPulse with every band controlled separately. Below we break down all five lines with the prices Sunlighten’s own US shop listed on October 31, 2026, so you buy the one that matches what you want. Note that those were sale prices that Sunlighten said end on October 31; we list the regular (compare-at) price next to each one.

Capacity, wavelengths and electrical come from Sunlighten’s own collection comparison chart; prices from shop-us.sunlighten.com.
1. Solo — Best Budget / Small Space
Sunlighten Solo Dome Chromo
- Portable far-infrared dome: you lie inside it rather than sit upright, unlike every other Sunlighten line.
- Sunlighten says it uses the same far infrared as its cabins, tested at 99% emissivity, with a maximum temperature of 150°F.
- $1,999 on Sunlighten's shop, about 40% of the cheapest full cabin (Signature I, $4,999). The Solo System Chromo bundle is $2,099 (reg. $2,999).
- Folds down for storage, with no dedicated electrical circuit or floor space required: the right entry point for renters or small apartments.
The Solo is the cheapest way into Sunlighten’s brand by a wide margin, but it’s a genuinely different product category from the other four lines: a lie-down dome, not a stand-up or sit-in room. See our best sauna dome roundup for how the Solo stacks up against LifePro’s InfraDome and budget generic capsule domes. Think of it as a trial run: if you use it regularly, the jump to a Signature cabin is a size upgrade, not a technology change, since both are far-infrared only.
2. Signature — Best Cheapest Full Cabin
Sunlighten Signature Far Infrared Sauna
- Far-infrared only: no near or mid band, and no red light therapy, unlike Amplify, Amplify RED and mPulse.
- Signature I (1-person) is $4,999 (reg. $5,499) and Signature II (2-person) is $5,499 (reg. $6,399) on Sunlighten's shop. The shop also lists Obsidian-finish Signature III ($6,399) and IV ($7,799).
- Sunlighten's comparison chart lists the Signature collection on 120V, so the 1-2 person models don't need a 240V circuit.
Signature is the tier most likely to disappoint someone expecting the brand’s full technology at full-cabin size. It’s far-infrared only, the same single wavelength band a budget Dynamic cabin uses (see our best Dynamic sauna guide for that comparison at a fraction of the price). What you’re paying the extra few thousand for is Sunlighten’s build and the brand’s ecosystem, not additional wavelength coverage. If near-infrared or red light matters to you, skip straight to Amplify or Amplify RED: Signature won’t add either, whichever size you buy.
3. Amplify — Best Full Spectrum Without Red Light
Sunlighten Amplify Full Spectrum Sauna
- Full spectrum (near, mid and far infrared) on top of Sunlighten's SoloCarbon far-infrared heaters, and built to heat faster and run hotter than the other lines: Sunlighten says it is engineered to reach 170°F.
- Amplify II is $5,799 in basswood and $5,999 in eucalyptus (reg. $6,699 / $6,899); Amplify III is $6,799 / $6,999; Amplify IV is $8,999 (reg. $10,399).
- No red light. For that, the same cabin family comes as Amplify RED, $1,700 more than the eucalyptus Amplify II at the 2-person size.
Amplify is the line most buyers actually want but rarely search for by name: full-spectrum heat for $300 more than a same-size Signature II at sale prices, and well under the red-light lines. At $5,799 it also lands between the other genuine full-spectrum cabins we track, Golden Designs’ Reserve Edition from $4,999 and Clearlight’s Sanctuary 1 at $6,999. See our best full spectrum infrared sauna roundup for how they stack up side by side.
4. Amplify RED — Best for Built-In Red Light
Sunlighten Amplify RED
- Full-spectrum infrared plus integrated red and near-infrared light (photobiomodulation), with the same 170°F rating as Amplify, per Sunlighten.
- Amplify RED II is $7,699 (reg. $8,899), III is $8,599 (reg. $9,899) and IV is $10,299 (reg. $11,899). On October 31, 2026 the II and IV showed as sold out; the III was in stock.
- Every Amplify RED needs a 240V circuit, according to Sunlighten's comparison chart. Budget for the electrician before you order.
Amplify RED is new since this guide first ran, and it changes the old rule that you need an mPulse to get red light from Sunlighten. It’s also the brand’s cheapest 2-person red-light cabin with a published price: $2,300 less than Sun Home’s Eclipse 2-Person at $9,999 (see our Sun Home vs. Sunlighten comparison) and covered with other built-in options in our best red light sauna guide.
5. mPulse — Best Full Technology
Sunlighten mPulse Smart Sauna with Red Light
- The only Sunlighten line that controls red light, near, mid and far infrared separately, through its PulseIQ system, with built-in session programs. Sunlighten says no other sauna does this.
- Sizes run Aspire (1 person), Believe (2), Conquer (3), Discover (4) and Empower (5), per Sunlighten's mPulse page and accessory packages. The Aspire is a 1-person model.
- No longer priced in Sunlighten's online shop as of October 31, 2026; the mPulse page asks you to request pricing. Electrical is 120V or 240V depending on the model.
mPulse is Sunlighten’s answer to “why buy the brand at all instead of Golden Designs or Clearlight.” It’s built on an engineering argument the company has stuck to for years: rather than blending wavelengths in one panel, mPulse delivers each band separately so you can change the mix by session. That approach makes it the most expensive and most app-customizable option in the lineup. Because Sunlighten now quotes it individually, get the Amplify RED price for the same size first; it’s the clearest reference point for what the separate-wavelength control is costing you. For the brand-versus-brand view, see our Sunlighten vs. Clearlight comparison.
How the five Sunlighten lines actually differ
The confusion with Sunlighten isn’t size. Each line is a different product, not a different capacity of the same sauna:
- Solo ($1,999): a portable lie-down dome, far-infrared only, 150°F max. Not a cabin.
- Signature ($4,999-$5,499 for 1-2 person): the cheapest genuine walk-in cabin, far-infrared only, 120V, no red light.
- Amplify ($5,799-$8,999): adds near and mid infrared for full spectrum and runs hotter (170°F), still no red light.
- Amplify RED ($7,699-$10,299): Amplify plus integrated red and near-infrared light, 240V only.
- mPulse (quote only): red light plus near, mid and far infrared, each controlled separately; 1-5 person.
Warranty is the same tiered structure across every cabin line regardless of price: 7 years on cabinetry and heaters, 3 years on controls, and just 1 year on glass doors and audio, per Sunlighten’s published residential warranty terms. Sunlighten also says its saunas are engineered for indoor use and that one placed outdoors, with or without a roof, needs a Sunlighten sauna cover to keep the warranty. That’s notably shorter coverage than Clearlight’s lifetime-on-interior-components warranty. Our sauna EMF explained guide covers how Sunlighten’s SoloCarbon heaters compare to other brands’ EMF specs if that’s a deciding factor too.
The bottom line
For most buyers who specifically want the Sunlighten name, the Amplify II at $5,799 (basswood) is the smartest buy: genuine full-spectrum heat and the brand’s hottest cabin rating without paying for red light. If red light is the point, the Amplify RED II ($7,699) is now the cheapest published way to get it from Sunlighten, and the mPulse is for buyers who want every wavelength under separate control and are happy to request a quote. Clearlight’s Sanctuary line matches full-spectrum heat with a far stronger lifetime warranty at a similar price, so read our Sunlighten vs. Clearlight breakdown before you commit. Tight on space or budget, the Solo dome at $1,999 is a genuine way to try Sunlighten’s heat first. And if you just want the cheapest walk-in cabin with the badge, Signature I is $4,999. Just know you’re buying far-infrared only.

Last updated October 31, 2026: re-priced every line from Sunlighten’s US shop (Signature I $4,999, not $5,099; Signature II $5,499, not $5,599; Amplify III from $6,799, not $5,799; Solo dome $1,999, not $1,899). Added the Amplify RED line, which means the mPulse is no longer Sunlighten’s only cabin with red light. Corrected the mPulse: the Aspire is a 1-person model, not the entry 2-person configuration, and mPulse cabins are now quote-only instead of the $7,499-$13,499 range this page listed before.
